Le marketing simple et facile pour PME et TPE française

Founded a year ago in the Gulf of Morbihan, the young company of Alexandre Martin launched its online service on September 10. Its promise: to read in a quarter of an hour everything the web says about a company, including AI responses, and then provide its manager with an action plan and the content to execute it. A year ago, Alexandre Martin left large corporations to settle in Arradon and set up an agency aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the Vannes area. Seventeen years spent at Rossel-La Voix du Nord and then at Dentsu, in France and Singapore, had accustomed him to working with teams and budgets. His new clients had neither. “The reading work I did for large brands did not exist at their scale, nor at their price,” he summarizes. From this observation, Wayveio was born, the platform he opened on Thursday, September 10, to all French SMEs.

A landscape that changed in one summer

The timing is not coincidental. Since July 22, Google has been displaying AI-generated answers above its search results in France. A month after this rollout, the publisher Ahrefs measured, across 963 French domains tracked in the Search Console, a click-through rate drop of 23% for the sites most exposed to these boxes. In the United States, the annual survey by BrightLocal shows that the share of consumers using ChatGPT or an equivalent tool to find a local business rose from 6% to 45% in one year.

For a company of ten people, the consequence is tangible: some of its potential clients are no longer searching for it in the same place, and no one is telling it what these new answers say about it. The measurements conducted by Wayveio during its testing phase support this. Among 44 companies analyzed between March and September, 34 of which are in Morbihan, twenty do not appear in any responses from the AI assistant queried about their sector. Twenty-one have no audience measurement tool installed on their site, in other words, no idea who is visiting or from where.

Fifteen minutes, about fifteen sources

The process can be summarized in three steps. The manager creates an account, indicates the address of their site and their activity, and then receives their analysis fifteen minutes later. In the meantime, the platform has read the site page by page, including spelling mistakes, the Google listing and customer reviews, search results, and competitors appearing in its place, the press, public records, demand seasonality, and industry trade shows. It has also asked five questions to an AI engine equipped with web search capabilities, three without mentioning the company name and two with, to see who is cited and from which sources.

The result takes the form of a score out of 100 divided into five levers: findability, trust, technical, conversion, digital presence. Anaïs, the in-house AI analyst, extracts what a consultant would provide: a summary, the monthly direction, a strategic bet argued against actual competitors, a thirty-day action plan week by week, an editorial calendar, and prospecting targets, including where to find them.

From observation to execution

It is in the follow-up that the platform seeks its differentiation. “Another observation is useless if the manager has no one to write the pages and publications,” argues Alexandre Martin. An integrated toolbox therefore writes, in the voice of the company, the articles, social posts, responses to reviews, prospecting messages, and seasonal offer plans.

The manager can also connect their Google Analytics, Search Console, and Google listing accounts in read-only mode, so that the recommendations are based on their actual figures rather than market averages. For subscribers, the analysis restarts every month, and the score is tracked over time. The data is hosted in the European Union, and disconnecting accounts is done with one click.

Incubated at the VIPE technopole

Wayveio is incubated at the VIPE technopole in Vannes, as part of the Dynam'it program led by Auray Quiberon Terre Atlantique for innovative young companies in the region. The model is subscription-based: the first analysis is free and does not require a credit card, the Essential offer is 390 euros excluding tax per year for one site, and the Pro offer is 590 euros for three sites.
