An Istor Livet returns in a new form and with a new theme! Julia and Nicolas present their research on the historical and mythological origins of various mysteries of the world. And we begin with the famous myth of El Dorado!
Christopher Columbus, Hernán Cortés, and Francesco Pizarro had one thing in common: the quest for gold in abundance in the "new" world. Europeans were fed the legend of the seven cities of gold when they heard from the indigenous people the story of a man nicknamed "El Dorado." The two legends intertwined to create a new one, an extraordinary place, the source of the wealth of the New World, to be found at any cost!
